How Does Telehealth Monitoring Work?
ASICC-MED provides you with a personal device that monitors, diagnoses and records your vital signs according to your doctor’s recommendations. Telehealth equipment may vary from one individual to the next, depending on the health conditions to be monitored.
All data collected from your personal monitoring device is transferred to ASICC-MED’s Central Unit, which receives and analyzes the data, and makes it available to a healthcare practitioner. A wide range of data communication channels are available, including telephones, cell phones, satellite communication, cable, etc.
For a small monthly fee, we simplify your life and ensure your diabetes (or other health condition) is monitored at all times. We make it easier for you to pre-order any medical equipment and supplies such as test strips by having quick access to your provider. Should there be any changes to your conditions, your healthcare practitioner can quickly be reached and your treatment can be adjusted.

Remote Monitoring Services
Your personal monitoring device is simple to use and includes optional features, such as reminder alarms and interactive instruction screens. You can be remotely monitored using wireless ECG or event monitors, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, oximeters and spirometers for the following:
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Weight measurement
- ECG vital signs monitoring
- SpO2 monitoring
- Respiratory monitoring
- Blood glucose monitoring
- Other types of remote monitoring are also possible.
ASICC-MED’s call centre is available to answer your call. Our telehealth personnel can also follow up and verify if you monitored your daily vital signs. In event that you do not initiate the prescribed monitoring and send us the data, we will contact you to remind you.
